What can I say? Give me S’mores!
Just like the real thing, but without the hassle of a camp fire. Everyone will loves these S’mores and they will want more. A great little treat to make ahead for a party or to bring to a gathering.
Now before you scroll down to the recipe, I regret not making my own marshmallow fluff for this recipe. If you are in a hurry or don’t want the mess of making a marshmallow meringue use store bought marshmallow fluff. Otherwise, I truly recommend that you make your own for a truly professional look.
There is a recipe I have tested for marshmallow meringue that would pair perfectly with this recipe for s’mores. I highly recommend that you make the marshmallow fluff from scratch as it will be more stable and hold much better than store bought fluff.
These S’mores are just like the real thing, graham crackers and chocolate topped with marshmallow.
Tips and Tricks to making these Yummy S’Mores
Buy some disposable aluminum tart shells to make the base for these s’mores cups. Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of the tart shells place the tart shells on a baking sheet. Then bake until they are ready.
Let the graham cracker base cool completely before pouring the chocolate ganache into the shells. Don’t skip this step. I bought disposable aluminum tart shells like these ones. Clean-up with these disposable tart shells will be much easier as well as once your done with them you can just throw them out.
Making the Ganache for the S’Mores
To make the ganache, place chocolate wafers in small bowl and microwave in 20 second intervals until soft. Then warm up cream in a glass bowl in microwave until hot. You can do this over the stove too.
Pour the cream into the bowl with the chocolate. Stir until all the chocolate is melted and smooth and the cream is well incorporated with chocolate. Let cool completely.
Pour chocolate ganache into the graham cracker filled tart shells. When I made this recipe, I made both white chocolate ganache and chocolate ganache. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Refrigerate the tarts for an hour before proceeding to top with the marshmallow fluff.
Storing your S’Mores Cups
You can’t freeze these s’mores cups. They need to be consumed within 5 days. Store s’mores cups in the refrigerator. You don’t need to cover them, but make sure that nothing is touching them or the fluff might end up on some of your other stored food.

Recipe Details for these Yummy S’Mores Cups
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine graham crumbs and melted butter in a bowl, mix well and press into aluminum tart shells or in a muffin tray lined with cupcake liners. Bake for about 20 minutes or until gold brown. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Chocolate ganache filling:

- Pour chocolate ganache into the graham cracker filled tart shells. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Place marshmallow fluff into a pastry back fitted with a large star attachment and pipe out the fluff around the outer edge making your way into the middle in a circular motion. If you have a kitchen torch, roast the top of the marshmallow fluff for a "real" s'mores effect.
