Flavors for These Chicken Wings
The flavor combinations for these wings isn't set in stone. Use your imagination to put different spices together to replicate some of the flavors that you like. For example, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cheese, herbs, citrus juices, etc.. And the combinations are endless.
I use a small bowl for each of the flavors I mix. I start by adding the olive oil to the bowl and then mixing in the dry spices. I then use a small whisk to mix all the ingredients together. I try to keep the flavor combinations to three so that I can actually remember what they are and distinguish them from one another.
Divide and Flavor Your Portions
I divide the wings into three portions or however many portions that require a different flavor. I put the wings in a medium sized bowl and take the flavor mixture of herbs and spices and rub it all over the wings. I then let it sit and marinate in the fridge for about 30 minutes. But, marinating the wings isn't necessary. So if you are short on time, don't worry about it. You can season your chicken wings and cook them right away.
Reducing Clean Up Time
When I know I'm going to use a baking sheet, regardless of whether it is non stick or not, I always line the tray with aluminum foil. Also, if you can find aluminum foil that is non stick like this Reynolds it will make your life so much easier. If you can't find non stick aluminum foil, just use regular foil. Note that if you grease the foil, the wings might come out really oily. When you are ready to cook your wings, just place them directly onto the aluminum foil and pop them in the oven.
Pairing Wings With Other Foods
The Roasted Chicken Wings pair very nicely with pizza or spare ribs and a side vegetable for a complete meal. Or, you can make these wings as an appetizer for a game day gathering, party or other event.

Ingredients
Wings
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- Maple Bacon Seasoning
- ½ tbsp chicken seasoning ((like Keg Chicken and Rib seasoning))
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp Maple Bacon Seasoning ((e.g. La Grille brand))
- ¼ cups olive oil
Smoke Paprika
- 1 tbsp smoked or regular Paprika
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp Hot sauce

Parmesan Garlic
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp dried Oregano

Instructions
- Preheat over to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with Alcan Aluminum Slide foil. Set aside. If you don't have Slide aluminum foil, grease your foil.
- Mix seasoning together for whichever flavour you are going to make. I usually divide all the wings into three and make three different types of seasonings, just for variation. Rub seasoning through chicken wings, let stand for about 20 minutes.
- Bake uncovered for about 45 to 60 minutes. You know they are done when they look crispy and they are bubbling from underneath - about 45 minutes. If they start to burn on the top, cover with foil and continue cooking until done.
